1. "Serpent on a Pole "

One of my favorite moments in the Old Testament [Num 21:9]. God instructed Moses to create a serpent of bronze and hoist it on a pole. The Isrealites just had to look upon it and be healed from the bites of venomous snakes sent for their disobedience.  Jesus later compared this moment to his coming sacrifice.

"Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.” [Jn 3:14]

2. "Kingly Geneology"

This design was inspired by [Lk 3:23], where the Geneology is listed back through King David all the way to Adam.

It confirm's God's promise to Adam of a redeeming decsendant and His curse to the serpent from Genesis.

"And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” [Gen 3:15]

3. Water 2 Wine

The first recorded miracle of Jesus's ministry. Jesus and his apostles were invited to a wedding of a friend in Cana. When his mother Mary discovered they had run out of wine, she asked Jesus to help them.

"Jesus told them, 'Fill the jars with water.' So they filled them to the brim" [Jn 2:7]

After the "master of ceremonies" tasted the wine, he commented that unlike other weddings, they had served their best wine at the end.

A beautiful miracle that marked the beginning of Jesus's ministry in the Gospel and a wonderful demonstration that God will always provide to those that humble themselves and ask.

4. The Parable of the Sower

A meaningful lesson from the Son of God. In large crowd of people, Jesus hops in a boat and addresses the crowd describing the nature of our faith.

I'm no theologian, so thanks be to God this was explained several verses later in Matt 13:18. (I encourage you to check it out!)

"Then he told them many things in parables, saying: 'A farmer went out to sow his seed. (4) As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. (5) Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. (6) But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. (7) Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. (8) Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. (9) Whoever has ears, let them hear.'" [Matt 13:3]
